Originally, this hotel was once called The Queen’s Hotel, when this town was known as Queenstown, before it was renamed back to its Irish name ‘Cobh’ following independence in 1920. The Hotel has links to two of the most infamous maritime disasters of the 20th century - The Titanic and The Lusitania, as well as murder and a suicide on the top floor. Queenstown also became the heartbreak capital of Ireland, as millions of Irish people hugged their families goodbye here, before leaving to settle abroad. Have all of these sad and tragic emotions seem to have been bottled up, creating a huge pressure point of paranormal events?
