Twin Paranormal
Middlegate station is the only rest stop, gas station, restaurant & bar within 50 miles from anything in either direction. The station started its life after the discovery of a trail through the mountains to facilitate travel to the west in the 1800’s. Eventually it would become a pony express station allowing the riders of the pony express to drop off or receive new mail and a new horse before continuing on their journey. The era of the pony express only lasted around 18 years, becoming obsolete after the invention of the telegraph, although the building remained as a freight station into the early 1900’s. The original building would lie abandoned for many years until it was auctioned off and restored as a cafe, bar and motel. It has remained a staple among locals and travelers for years. We had heard some stories of strange happenings at the station and decided to pay a visit ourselves to see what is really going on here once the sun goes down. Once we arrived stories from those who live on the land surrounding the bar out in the middle of nowhere is what really got our attention. That of old native rumors regarding dark energies in that area, a woman who practiced dark magic that used to live and work at the bar leaving the spirits she used to communicate with behind, and finally two resident spirits of a former owner and a partitioner who’s house still sits on the land untouched since her passing. What we would come to find inside the bar will stick with us for years to come, a lesson learned the hard way. However we also captured some of our best evidence of ghosts, demons, and life after death. This is our investigation of the Middlegate station.
